The Elgar SW5550A AC Power Source simulates complex, real-world power anomalies—including dropouts, surges, sags, and frequency excursions—across a frequency range of DC or 40 Hz to 5 kHz. With three independent arbitrary waveform generators, it produces detailed, phase-specific waveforms for precise simulation.
Designed for advanced testing in avionics, telecom, and commercial electronics, it supports AC and DC output on separate or shared phases. Built-in memory allows storage of up to 50 user-defined waveshapes and 50 custom test setups for fast recall and repeatability. Its low THD, low ripple, and direct-coupled transformerless design meet demanding EMC and avionics standards.
